OCC Lip Tars

Ok so again long time, no update. I've been really busy blogging research for my final uni project on editorial design. Due to having Chloe my deadline has been extended to 2nd September in order to graduate this year. But when I saw these on Hannah's blog, I knew I had to get some. I'd never heard of OCC before (Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics) but having looked through some more reviews and swatches, I opted for Melange which is a terracotta colour, Pageant - a dark pink and Feathered which is pure white.

(L-R: Pageant, Feathered, Melange)

I only got these this morning but I'm so impressed with them already! I mixed up Pageant and Feathered to create a really bright, pretty pink. You only need a tiny amount because however much you mix of each colour really affects the outcome.

Lip Tars aren't like normal lip glosses at all really. They're totally non-stickly, last for ages and have a great peppermint taste. Plus you really have to apply them with a lip brush (I used a Mac 317) because they're quite runny and I can imagine it would be very difficult. They seem to have good staying power because I had to use some of my Shu Uemura oil cleanser to get it off. I love them, definitely want to get some more in future even though these 3 cost me about £26 in total. Grandma and Hush are next on the list. I ordered mine from here for 8.99 each.

  1. These look great, especially cause I don't particularly like lip glosses because they are usually very sticky. Out of my price range for a lipgloss but always good to know just incase! I love the outcome of that pink!
