Animalistic

Top - New Look / Skirt - American Apparel / Necklace - Gogo Philip / Ring - ASOS

Gotta say I'm loving a bit of leopard at the moment. I know dalmation print is supposedly "the cool new thing" but I'd rather stick with a classic. I know if I were to buy something dalmation print I'll probably want rid of it a few months later. I got this top from New Look a few weeks ago and I'm tempted to buy some more leopard based items. I'd love to get this shirt from Topshop which is basically a long sleeve version of the one I'm wearing. New Look do a similar version but the Topshop one looks loads nicer to me. Don't know about anyone else but it kinda reminds me of something Richard O'Brien would've worn on The Crystal Maze, which totes makes me want it more haha. Today I saw the most amazing faux fur leopard print coat in New Look, its not on the website yet but its basically my dream winter coat. I'll probably end up buying both of these when I next go shopping. I know its such a cliche thing for girls to say but right now I feel like I have nothing to wear. I think its because its getting colder and my past winter wardrobe mainly consists of things that really aren't my style anymore. I've decided I hate pretty much everything in my wardrobe and its time to sell it all. I'll be setting up a blogshop shortly for you all to peruse. One question: is selling old shoes disgusting/weird? I have so many heels that I've never worn so thats not too gross in my opinion but I'm not sure if its a done thing.

  2. Oh I've been completely sucked in by the dalmatian trend hahaha, looking for a belt or something to add to my wardrobe as opposed to a shirt though (: Your outfit is lovely, the black taped button strip breaks the leopard up perfectly. I've just been sorting through my wardrobe, packing to move on Thursday and I definitely need to set up a blogshop for the items I no longer wear. Just finding the motivation to even take photos! Hope you're well Caroline (: xx

  4. You look amazing in leopard print.. I do love dalmatian print, but do agree that leopard is a classic and don't think dalmatian will stick around for too long! I'd buy second hand shoes as long as they're not like overly worn and smelly lol!

  5. Love this top and I think I actually prefer the New Look long-sleeved version to the Topshop one. You could quickly customise it to make it look just as fierce, ha that didn't intend to sound so 'Gok'. Will definitely be investigating this faux fur coat too :) X

  8. I do love dalmation print but only for small accents like nails or a bit of jewellery. I'd never wear a damlation print top as I would a leopard print top! This top is super cute :) xx

  11. That top is so perfect. I need it right now! Also, I completely agree that leopard print is more classic. Dalmatian print isn't my cup of tea either.

  13. I agree with the other girls above, you look absolutely fantastic in Leopard print it really works on you. I love how the top is really loud but the skirt is so subtle on the bottom makes it so classy with a little bit of fierce thrown in :) the dalmation trend has kind of passed me by although I'm seriously into red leopard print which I think counts as a variation? ;)

I know exactly what you meen with your not knowing what to wear, half the time at the moment my entire wardrobe ends up on my floor before I get out the door -sigh-

  14. I love leopard print, you can never have too much! I'm not a huge fan of the dalmation print trend either, I'd rather stick with the classics.
I have the long sleeved version of the New Look leopard print shirt, I think it's pretty similar to the Topshop one which is more than double the price!
