I've never actually looked at the Natural Collection stand in Boots before. I tend to have it in my head that cheap makeup normally means bad makeup. Feeling poor but in need of a treat, I purchased one of their Moisture Shine lipsticks in the shade Pink Mallow. Its a midtone pink that is highly pigmented & fairly long lasting. I only needed to reapply it after eating or drinking. It feels quite moisturising on my lips & I didn't need to apply Carmex beforehand which is something I often have to do with other lipsticks. Its a perfect pink for day wear & it has found a place amongst the other lippies in my everyday makeup bag (MAC Hue, Angel, Creme Cup & Shy Girl). It cost something ridiculously cheap like £2 & theres even a 3 for 2 offer on at the moment so you can get 3 good quality lipsticks for under a fiver. Not bad Boots, not bad at all.
What other cheapie lippies do you rate?
That colour looks so pretty on you. I like buying cheaper lipsticks just to test colours that suit me first without splashing out a load of money for something I'll never wear. Although, I've got a sneaky suspicion that they might be discontinuing the NC lipsticks because they're not available on the Boots website anymore.
ReplyDeleteThis colour really suits you! x
ReplyDeleteNice colour - love a good bargain! xox
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous colour, lovely everyday pink, and not to "nuclear" (I'm a bit scared of strong lip colour).
ReplyDeleteI reckon the Boots own stuff is a pretty good bet for bargain make-up products, definitely tempted by the 3 for 2.
Love the collar/jumper that you on in this also.
Such a pretty colour, and what a bargain! I'll be hitting up Boots tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteI love these lipsticks, I have a nude shade and Cranberry. The nude shade doesn't look great as I have dry lips and it sinks into the cracks but the much more pigmented Cranberry is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThis colour is so pretty I will definitely be stocking up on more of these next time I'm in the UK! xx

ReplyDeleteLooks great on you! I steer away from lipstick a lot of the time because I worry about it drying out my lips and flaking and bleeding and generally looking a mess, but I might have to pick one of these up. No reason not to for that price! I recently bought a 'luscious liquid lipstick' from ELF and think it's pretty good for the price.
ReplyDeleteI love this colour on you! Infact I might have to buy it for myself. I don't usually suit pinks but at £2 I think it'd be rude not to at least give it a go. :) xx
